The beauty of this entertainment console is in its sleek, contemporary design, with radial sides and a minimal imprint. The 74" Entertainment Console from Furnitech doesn't take away from the impact of the large screen television. I like that it provides a simple place on which to rest the TV and offers plenty of space for additional components, like DVD players and audio equipment. The wood construction and chrome legs create a sturdy, solid setting for your favorite television. The two sliding smoked glass doors make it easy to access other components and add a nice aesthetic. The entertainment center is available in a light cherry or a wenge finish.

3-in-1 TV Console
Sometimes a simple TV stand is all you need for your flat panel television. I love the contemporary design of the 3-in1 TV Console from the Golden Oak Vas collection. This TV console has a swivel mount for an optimal viewing experience, but also supports a wall-mounted TV application. Sturdy solid wood legs and opaque black tempered glass shelves create a sophisticated look and provide ample storage space for audio and visual components. The TV console features a universal mount that's designed for flat panel TVs measuring up to 60" and weighing up to 165 pounds. Concealed cable management keeps cords out of sight.Friday, January 30, 2009
Foot-of-The-Bed TV Console
Watching TV in bed is one of my guilty pleasures. It's my favorite spot in the whole house. The Crystal Pointe Foot-of-the-Bed Plasma TV Console from Import Advantage is designed specifically for the end of the bed. The neatest part of this TV console is the lift that hides your television when you're not using it. We have a sliding glass door that looks out over a pond and a regular TV stand would obscure the view. With a lift, we would be able to enjoy the scene outside the window and have the television in an optimal position. The lower drawers can be positioned in the back or the front of the console to accommodate placement against a wall and keep components in a convenient place. All I need is that plasma TV.

Entertainment Center
Large screen and flat panel televisions are here to stay. Finding the right entertainment center to fit both the TV and the room decor can be a bit of a challenge, but there are so many from which to choose, you're guaranteed to find exactly what you need and love. Many are available as a set, complete with credenza and pier cabinets to complete the ensemble. The Crescent Village Ovation Entertainment Center has a rustic look with an oak finish and black accents, which make a beautiful contrast. The credenza has room for audio and visual components and media collections, as well as open shelving for decorative accents. The pier cabinets are adjustable and can fit televisions up to 50-3/4" wide and 34" high. The black carpet behind the TV blocks out light to give you a better picture. Open shelves on the pier cabinets are the perfect place for books, plants or photos.

Wicker TV Stand
Finding the right kind of storage for our bedroom TV has been a challenge, because our bedroom window overlooks a large pond and we didn't want the television to obstruct it. This TV stand from Sunset, seen on www.shopentertainmentcenters.com, is made of wicker with a whitewash finish, which makes it perfect for our beach cottage decor. The TV stand has a swivel top, so we can turn the TV towards us when we're watching it and then slide it back into place when we are finished. Three drawers store DVDs and other types of media, and there's also a shelf for the cable box or DVD player.

Sound Effects Entertainment Center
The Sound Effects Entertainment Center is my first choice for a post. Why? Because, I purchased this a few weeks for our bedroom and was truly impressed by it's design. The drawers under the TV stand appear as though they are suspended in the air. The best feature... the drawers have glass fronts so that you can put your entertainment components, like your receiver or cable box into the drawers and the remote still works!!! This entertainment center is available at ShopEntertainmentCenters.com and is currently listed at $799.99...worth every penny.
